In the middle of this town, stands the Ula General Library as a mark of this continued patronage of the people towards education and culture. Around 100 years in the past, this place indeed had an English medium school with around 70,000 students and the urge for education was obvious from the fact that the British had built two identical building for Senior Cambridge curriculum. First was The Hindu College which shook the Calcutta society and shed new light on the thinking process of the people of Calcutta. The second building was Krishnanagar College that brought fresh air and new light in the age-old belief and social customs of rural life while introducing the thought of modernity in the activities of the upper crust of rural society far away from Calcutta. With this long history of culture it is needless to say that we as responsible citizens of this country, must continue our effort in keeping up with the expectations of the residents of Birnagar to provide quality education to the young generation. The school has adopted digital E-Learning mode of teaching to upgrade and modernize classroom teaching methodologies which will help students to grasp the knowledge faster and with ease. The medium of teaching followed in the school is English. Children are trained to acquire skill in speaking, reading and writing good English. Chatterjee Noble School (CNS) is our dream that finally comes alive with a facility for students, from Nursery to class X, affiliated to CBSE Board and plans to provide quality education with modern residential amenities.

Director's message

In today’s generation, schools are not only meant to attain information and knowledge, rather they are platforms for collaborations of thoughts and ideas. At Chatterjee Noble School, we believe that the true strength in our classroom lies in collaboration of learners, not in the knowledge of one expert. Aristotle once said that,“Educating the mind without educating the heart is not education.” Even as we impart the education to match the advancement in technology and processes, we guide our children towards right principles, ethics and moral values. We offer our students a stress free learning environment which encourages creativity and critical thinking. Our unique teaching and learning process with the proper blend of theory and practice crosses the boundaries of nation towards global excellence.

We educate our students to maximize their innate potential along with positive social behavior, thus developing them as a global citizen. We value regular contact with parents/ guardians, and regard the home-school partnership as an essential part of educational process. We are always open to refreshing views and suggestions which can add more value to the overall development of our school.
